Welcome to TutorKhata (tutorkhata.com). TutorKhata is an online tuition fee management platform designed for private tutors and tuition centres in India. The service is operated by Arnab Mondal, an individual proprietor based in Deucha, Barjora, West Bengal, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our website, mobile application, and services.
By registering or using TutorKhata, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.
TutorKhata's data collection is limited to what we genuinely need to provide our service. We are transparent about what we gather, how we use it, and how long we keep it.
TutorKhata uses Razorpay as its payment gateway for processing subscription payments. We do not store your credit card, debit card, UPI, or net banking details on our servers. All payment transactions are handled securely by Razorpay in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. Please refer to Razorpay's Privacy Policy for more information.

Student data you enter into TutorKhata (names, parent contact numbers, fees, attendance) is used solely to provide the platform features to you. This data is never shared with third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose.
TutorKhata uses session cookies to keep you logged in during your session on the website. The mobile app uses secure local storage to maintain your login session. These are not used for advertising or tracking across other websites.
You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may affect the functionality of the platform, including your ability to stay logged in.
We retain your account and associated data for as long as your account is active. If your subscription expires and you do not return to the platform, we retain your data for up to 12 months to allow you to resume your subscription without losing your records. After 12 months of inactivity, we may delete or anonymise your account data.
If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Student records and fee data entered by you are retained as long as your account exists and are deleted along with your account, subject to the retention period above.
You have the right to request deletion of your TutorKhata account and all associated data at any time.

To comply with Indian tax law and financial regulations, we may retain anonymized transaction records (without your name or identifying details) for up to 7 years from the date of the last transaction. Any retained records cannot be used to identify or contact you. We may also retain backups for up to 60 days after deletion before they are overwritten, after which the data is unrecoverable.

TutorKhata is intended for use by adult tutors and tuition centre operators. The platform is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from minors. Student names, parent contact numbers, and related records entered by tutors are managed solely by the registered tutor account holder, who is responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from the parents or guardians of the students they record.
